There’s something charmingly old-fashioned about a British porch isn’t there? They have all just stood outside these houses like silent sentinels, keeping watch over the lawn and the drive. And they are like Schoedinger’s room aren’t they? Simultaneously definitely a room, and yet completely not. It’s not like we aim to spend much time there.
