Replacement Conservatory Roof in Barton Seagrave

This blog showcases a conservatory in Barton Seagrave where we replaced their old glass conservatory roof with a solid conservatory roof.
We were contacted by our Customer in Barton Seagrave as they were experiencing some major structural issues with their Glass Roofed Livin Conservatory even though it was only three years old.

On inspection we could see that the glass roof was to heavy for the construction of the conservatory and there were cracks appearing where the tie bar was connected to the brick walls. Our advice to our Customer was to contact the company that built the conservatory as it should be within guarantee and they should rectify the issues for them.

Unfortunately, the Customer had experienced several issues with the original company and did not want or trust them to rectify the structure and asked that we quote to replace the conservatory roof with a solid conservatory roof. During the quote, they enquired about changing the shape of the conservatory roof, from a Double Hipped Edwardian Conservatory to a Gable Ended Conservatory, they also requested Velux Windows to be installed within the roof.

Please see below photos of before, during and after the conservatory roof was replaced.
